perfect. Not all locations have all data available, but great fun!

really interesting! very usefull. beautiful layout, too!
This is, by far, my favourite weather app - and one of my favourite of all apps as well. Amazingly pretty interface, easy to use, fun and precise. Thanks, guys!
I would gladly pay for a commercial-free version.
This is probably the best weather app Ive used. Not the most simple but its got the nicest design Ive seen. Plus how can you go wrong with a free app that looks this good and actually does what its supposed to do efficiently.
I like the whole idea and execution, but the icons just looks so ugly on my dock...
This app is awesome, very funny, very well presented and accurate. Its possible to change a few interesting things though the settings such as what temperature is "hot", "warm", "cold" or "frigid" to you. Thats clever as the perception of the weather changes from one place to another. However, I am canadian and some infos arent available for my area (such as the different radar images). Its also impossible to get the app in another language than English. Very interesting infos about the weather everywhere in the world are displayed in this app but alas, again, when I am told the coldest or warmest place in the "nation", I am given a location in the United States. All in all, very good app, it just lacks a little regional feel.
This app’s usefulness and simple graphic appeal is tarnished by the use of ads, which ultimately made me delete it. Also, there is nothing particularly application-like about this software. Its feels like a website packaged in a custom browser. The developer seems like an iOS developer testing out the waters of the Mac, but doesnt seem to take it seriously as a productivity platform. It also could use some simple adjustments: • Always Helvetica, Never Arial. • The menu item that lets you customize your application in Mac OS X is Preferences, not Settings. • An icon that looks good in the Dock.
This is an awesome app, but I wish it could be in my menu bar so i could access it quickly like Weathereye!
I absolutely love the Easter Egg Peeps :) Doesnt display all the radars for Canada, but it still gives all the weather Info i need!
They tout this as "a whole new way of looking at weather", which I suppose it true. Sadly, that new way would have to be described as "incorrect." The forecasts seems to be a bit... erm... well... useless, frankly. Wherever the app was pulling its data from can be way off the mark. Environment Canada correctly forecast Vancouvers weather this evening as being "a mix of sun and cloud." Swackett was telling me that we were going to have a spate of heavy thunderstorms. Far from needing to don a sow-wester and wellies, I was enjoying dinner on the front steps this evening. An app like this, for all its clever and attractive design, is only as good as the place it gets its data from.
The graphics are kind of interesting, but the premise of the app strikes me as a gimmick. Gimmicks are fine once the basics are there: I live in one of the largest cities in Canada, and none of the radars are available, neither are any of the watches or warnings, and so far today the weather seems a little less than accurate (while my other application was closer). The interface is nice, but the actual weather aspect of the software seems a bit off. Currently the weather is "a thunderstorm in the area", and its telling me to wear a muscle shirt and flip flops - I suppose thats accurate if Im planning on swimming while Im out.
I like the idea of presenting the weather in terms of what cloths you need to wear. And the ads are placed at a discrete location and are bearable. However, this feels more like a webpage than an app, because you have to scroll down to get the forcast for the rest of the day and the week. Its better to put those in another tab or something.
I Live on Vancouver ISLAND and they dont list my area (Victoria, BC). And I cant use Vancouver because the weather is totally different. >:(
It seems to be a fun, stable weather app. I really enjoy seeing the weather stats for the day (coldest/warmest place in the country/world). The recommended clothing is useless to me, but its fun to see the it represent what kind of day it is.
nice concept, but all i get is " The swackett weather provider is temporarily offline. We are working to resolve the problem quickly. Please try back later." for the last month...so pretty much usless..
The visuals are very nice but I wish there was a menu icon, or a dock icon that shows the current temperature.
When I first bought this app I was skeptical and now that I have had it I am glad I got it. It not only tells you the weather but suggested fashion tips. It is in my eyes the number one weather app available.
I tried to uninstall it dragging the application icon on to the Trash...no luck... Standard MacOS widget gives you the same value but much quicker and lighter. I see no value in using this application.
This software doesnt have Italian cities... there is Afganistan, Kazakhistan and not italy?!?
